George is a Partner at Metavallon, which currently manages 2 VC funds with over €55 million in total AUM. Metavallon specializes in funding early stage businesses at the forefront of technological innovation. It has received investments from the EIF, the HDBI, as well as from distinguished institutional and private investors.

He holds a B.Sc. degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Athens, an M.Sc. degree in Geophysics from the University of Leeds, and an MBA from ALBA. He worked for several years as a business consultant and has supported many Greek SMEs in securing funding by leveraging relevant Greek and European tools. Later, he worked as an executive in leading Greek companies in the ICT sector. He has experience from startups to companies listed on various Stock Exchanges like Athens, London AIM and Nasdaq.
